As you know, I like to share the real estate trends in Bend with my clients and people who receive my blog, it’s a great quick snap shot of the current Bend market. A quick summary: We had just 862 homes for sale at the end of May in Bend, compared to 919 in May 2015. Of those 464 were new listings. Pending sales were down over April, but sales were up 11%! At the end of May we had just 2.4 months inventory (after pended sales) down from a high of 4.5 months last December. The average days on market was 118 in May, with the median price of 374,000, highest in previous 15 months . Homes sold for an average of 97% of the original list price. We have entered the peak selling period of June – Sept, so will be interesting to see where we go from here. I will try to update monthly.
